On 24 January 2017, the Vysočina Region hosted a session of the Committee on Health Care of the Chamber of Deputies. The programme also involved a visit to Hospital Jihlava and a presentation of the system of comprehensive cancer care in the region.

The Regional Cancer Control Baltic Policy Conference was held in Riga, Latvia, on 19 January 2017. Among others, cancer control, cancer screening, and quality of cancer care were discussed. The objective of the meeting was to inform decision makers in the Baltic Sea region about the principal outputs of the CanCon project.
